The Carlotta Street Pirus (CSP), also known as the Carlotta Street Simi Pirus or Lotta Gang are primarily an African-American Piru gang located on the East Side of Simi Valley California. They emerged during the late 1970's or early 1980's, after the formation of the original Pirus, in Compton, California. They are named after Carlotta Street, a residential street located between Rebecca Street and Winifred St. However, their territory actually stretches from Rebecca Street to Cochran St, with their largest clique being Vanessa Street (V-Block). Members are known to sport baseball caps by the Cincinnati Reds to signify their affiliation with the Carlotta Street Pirus.
Allies And Rivals
The Carlotta Street Pirus are allies of the Valley Hood Pirus. They are enemies of the Arroyo Park Crips and the Simi Valley Gangster Crips, two of the largest Crip gangs in Simi Valley.
The Carlotta Street Pirus are also known for feuding with their former ally the South Side Piru on Sitka Avenue and Barnes St in Simi Valley, California. In 1993, this rivalry intensified between the two warring gangs when a member of the South Side Piru was ambushed and shot by a member of the Carlotta Street Pirus.
